Downtown Raleigh - Local Real Estate Agent with Local Knowledge

Downtown Raleigh - Local Agent – Local Knowledge

Whether you are buying or selling a home in Downtown Raleigh, it pays to use a local real estate agent with local knowledge. Essentially this is because a local agent knows what’s happening in his or her area, and has a well-established local network of people to work with. A local agent will be able to analyze things like local services information (about education, schools, local amenities and so on), local demographics, and house-price information that is relevant to the area.
Working with a local agent with local knowledge does not in any way imply small and parochial. Even major international property chains prefer to work with local agents who have good knowledge of the area in which they live and operate. So the fact that the agent you choose to work with is a local agent will usually work in your favor.
Of course you need to be sure that the property person you choose to work with is an experienced professional, and somebody who will have your interests at heart. A good local agent will be able to accurately assess the market in your area and evaluate your property in relation to the other houses that have sold, and are for sale, where you live. Ultimately that means the best price possible for buyer and seller.
I am your local Downtown Raleigh Real Estate Expert. I am here to assist you with your Raleigh home buying or Raleigh home selling needs. I am able to share my local Downtown Raleigh knowledge with you. We, as a family, live in this area, we work in the area and my children are at school and university locally and with my years of real estate experience, I would like to be the person to get the job, looking after your Raleigh Real Estate needs.

Downtown Raleigh Business and Commerce Spurs Local Job Growth

The job market is heating up in downtown Raleigh.  The anticipated future growth is evidenced by the many new construction projects, both residential and commercial, currently underway in and around downtown Raleigh.

We are seeing multiple offers on many properties and we are working with buyers who are just sitting and waiting for properties to come available in certain condo buildings.  The job market is probably the same, many potential candidates and few positions.  As the local economy heats up, a greater demand for services will spur job growth.  The service industry in downtown Raleigh is doing well.  Many new restaurants are opening and the arts scene is creating a new draw to the area.  the Amphitheater, Convention Center, NC State University, the State Capitol, Museums and Events are bringing more and more people to the area.

Take a look at these sites and see if there is a job that interests you.  If you find yourself moving to Raleigh or wanting to enjoy the downtown vibe as a permanent resident, give us a call.  We live and work in downtown and we are here to help you in any way we can.  We are also looking for new talent for our team.  Give us a call!

Is This a Good Time to Invest in Real Estate in Raleigh?

Is This a Good Time to Invest in Real Estate in Raleigh?

Have you considered investing in a property to rent out? It's a great time to invest in property right now.

Today property prices are still low in comparison. The market is picking up and the Seller is often on the receiving end of more than one offer - and that is a sure sign that the market is improving.

The shortage of inventory means the market will change as demand outstrips supply.

The credit crunch scared off many home buyers. Those who struggled to sell their homes during the credit crunch, and eventually managed to do so, have become renters. Some who lost everything during those tough times, have to rent and we find ourselves with a high demand for rentals across the board.

Interest Rates can be fixed for 20 or 30 years and that means that you will more than likely have capital growth over that time and rental income will increase, giving you a positive cash flow and a growing asset. In my opinion, inflation must be higher than 3% to 5% over 20 or 30 years.

This is a great window of opportunity to buy an investment property. I would love to have a confidential chat with you about the opportunity to invest.

We specialize in condo's, town homes, multi-family and single family homes inside the Raleigh Beltline, downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.  We also offer expert property management services so you don't have to worry about a thing!

Please give me a call and lets set up a coffee date to discuss this further.
